Sliding Glass Doors November Book Club

The first book club in October went really well. We had a great discussion about How To Be Antiracist. So I’m more than overdue to announce the next book (sorry about that!).

Anyways, a few weeks ago, I was contacted by a local college to see if I’d be interested in doing their next next book for their class. Which was a yes.

November’s Sliding Glass Doors Book Club is I’m Still Here by Austin Channing Brown. I haven’t read it yet, but I’ve been hearing good buzz about it! It’s a newer book that is a pick for Reece’s Book Club (think of a newer version of Oprah’s Book Club).

The next Sliding Glass Doors Book Club will meet on November 29, at 3 PM. If you’re interested in joining, go to the page so you can sign up! If you have any questions, feel free to email or comment on the post.

Thank you, Kristian, for these reading recommendations. I am not a “zoomer,” but I welcome the opportunity to learn from these books. I have your last month’s recommendation and now this month’s book on hold for me at my local library. I am several people behind on the wait list for both, leading me to think they are generating good interest. Thanks again.
