Today is Jax’s birthday. He’s four years old.
This meant he had his annual photoshoot with candles and a cake.
He has a good ‘leave it’, but sometimes the treat is so tempting that he simply can’t look at it. The whole situation went on for a bit before he began side eyeing me.
He’s such a good boy and adopting him was truly one of my best life choices.
For Christmas, I decided Jax should do a craft. I’ve wanted him to paint a picture for a bit, and since I had time off it seemed like the perfect time.

My sister, Kendall, and I had been looking for a dog off and on for almost the past year. We initially were focused on finding an adult dog, but each time we’d found one we’d liked it either saw cats as a New York strip or had already been adopted. All of our pets have found us in some manner, so we figured eventually someone would call us or we’d be in the right place at the right time.
