I started on a Native Arabian costume. They can easily make you go cross eyed trying to get the little bits and pieces together. This is the first one I’ve ever done, and so far I like it.
The saddle tree I made out of foil and a soda can. I used regular embroidery thread to make the breastcollar. And the tassels are from the same thread and I still need to make a bazillion more!The fabric is some I got years ago from a craft store, and looking at the picture I really need to stretch and train it!
The model that’s sporting it really needs a new paint job. Once it’s done, maybe I’ll even try making a doll.
