The Finishing Part

My first order of business was making a dummy saddle. I wanted to practice tooling a bit and also make sure the pattern fit.

Next came the actual fun part, constructing the set. I tooled and painted the leather. I love baby blue, so this saddle already was a winner in my book.

It took a bit for each piece to be tooled and painted.

I also made a breast collar and bridle. I put together the final pieces and did a fit check on the model. I also tried a doll to make sure it’d sit too.

I love the way it came out and I absolutely love this new Breyer mold.
