Tooling It

Today I tooled my very first piece of saddle leather. After looking on line for how-tos I used a fellow hobbyer’s blog, Riversong Musings, and used her how-to on tooling leather to help. Then I used the extra sheet in Rio Rondo’s western saddle kit for the pattern. All in all I’d call it a pretty good first try!

    Thanks! I always thought it was very complicated, but you just need a couple basic tools (or similar ones) and then practice!
