My very non-horsey week

Between homework and regular arts stuff, my week with model horses was very limited.
For a field trip, the AP and Pre-AP Art students went to Messiah College to have a critique of some of our artwork and check out the classes. Sorry about the cell phone pictures throughout the post!
The sculpting area was awesome. Here’s a part of it.

Some of the college artwork in the room.

The gang.

The idea was thought up during the ACSI Competition during a seminar a couple of weeks ago. One of the art professors gave the idea for the AP and Pre AP students to visit for a half day. I showed my saddle for the competition. It received an excellant.

There were tons of awesome pieces of artwork all by students ranging from 9th to 12th grade.

Deer

Since my last post my computer problem has been fixed: New lovely computer
Also I have a new camera! It was an 18th Birthday gift from my awesome Mom.
I haven’t had any opportunities to take pictures of horses, but we went on a week getaway to the Pocono Mts. in PA, so here are some deer pictures (they’re four legged-ly similar to horses, right?).
I haven’t done anything model horse related. My aunt recently passed away and during the time I helped take care of her, so mentally and physically that was draining, which left zero brain cells for model horse things. On top of that there was a lot  of ugly family drama, hence the reasoning behind the Pocono Mt. runaway getaway.  So I’m hoping to get back into the relaxing world of model horses again soon.
