Today was day one of the show held at someplace (Briarwood Farms). If you know me, you know I am directionally challenged and rarely know where I am.
My life
Better Late Than Never
On October 24th and 25th, the Pennstate Harrisburg Equestrian Team went to a show at Grier School and it was hosted by Pennstate University Park. It was also my first show!
Originally the show was going to be held at State College, but ominous weather caused it to be moved to a covered arena. Good thing it was because the weather prediction was right. It did pour.
A donor donated for us to stay in a house.
There was also a barn.
And creek.
Great Couple Of Weeks
The last couple of weeks have been horse filled. I went to a model horse show where I got to see plenty of plastic pony friends.

Then during the past weekend, I went to a real horse show. I also competed for the very first time too!
A Great Mail Week
College started out fast from the start. Which isn’t a bad thing because I do enjoy college (minus math!). The Equestrian Club will be starting up soon and I joined a couple of new clubs this fall (Photography Club and the campus lit magazine). College is a whole awesome world within itself, so my plastic pony time has been limited. But that doesn’t stop me from buying supplies!
This came during the week.
The two saddle trees are by Kirsteen Haley-Nettles and are pleasure type. It’s my first time trying this tree style I have to clean them up, but that’s not at the top of my to do list. I’m hoping to finish long overdue things and start on new orders.
And the Fear The Walking Dead contest is over, but I’ll let in any stragglers until I pull the 2 winners. I’m hoping to draw the winners either tomorrow or Monday so you have until then to comment. Hopefully everyone has had (or will have) a great weekend.
