Quabbin Valley Performance Open Pt 1
The Quabbin Valley Performance Open was my first ever time venturing up to region 10. Their online database already impressed me (seriously, it made things so easy!) so I was excited to do another all performance show. Niki, Lizzie and I went up together.
The show was divided by AR/CM and OF so the pictures from AR/Cm will be first.
Harness was the first division of the day and also my first class. Red Queen got a second in pleasure!
The next division was stock work.
Reining
Extreme Cowboy was one of my favorite classes because I could show my archery setup (even though Red Queen should have been pointed to the side!).

Performance is my first love at shows. That doesn’t stop me from appreciating pretty halter models though! Here are some of the custom and artist resin models from halter! Enjoy!

I focused more on Custom/Resin performance because of my new custom.
The first class of the Cm/Ar performance was Harness.

Red Queen got 4th.
Next was Saddleseat.

Other performance.
I’d heard a lot about the zombie trailer and hadn’t seen it so I was excited to see it at the show. Blood+zombies+Rick=awesome.
Mel brought out her zombie throwing Stormwatch.
Native American/Arabian costume was next.

Red Queen earned a 3rd place. Yay!
Next came other costume and I did a quick tack change for it.
I put Red Queen into my Game of Thrones Medieval tack.

Showmanship came next.
Red Queen got a 5th.

Next came the English Division. I didn’t realize until Lizzie told me that at this show you can not show horses in both English and Western, so I had to change my show plans a bit. So my Giselle was put into my western tack. :)
