Yesterday Breyerfest 2017 ended. There’s so many things to run to during those few days that sleep isn’t an option. You don’t have time to sleep, and you totally don’t want to.
So here’s a small sampling of what I saw and did at Breyerfest while I catch up on sleep.
Enjoy!
Full of Travel
Today fellow hobbyist Tai and I traveled to Kentucky. It was a nice drive without traffic or accidents or weird weather. This was the first time ever where the weather didn’t whip up a rapid storm while driving.
Final destination truck.
We made it to the place we’re staying.
So who’s ready for Breyerfest to begin? I know I am.
Best Saddle
It’s Breyerfest week! I’ve been making tack for the NoNANSense demo, but decided to make a saddle. I’m glad I did because this is the best English saddle I’ve made. The part of the saddle that I struggle the most with is the tree and pommel. I ‘m really happy with how it came out. Pattern wise and dye job too.
I’m also pretty happy with the underside too. I’ll have an English saddle now that I don’t have any issues displaying lol.
Pile of Halters
Breyerfest is so close and I feel like I still have so much to do.
The one thing I feel pretty good about is in the tack department. I will be at NoNANSense as one of the hobby demo people so I need to have stuff prepared. I figured with the time slot, halters were the way to go. I think they’re one of the easiest pieces of tack to make. At the moment I have fifteen. Hopefully I will get up to a higher number. There’s an array of halters in the pile. Some have fun colored lace, others have padding, and a small few have nameplates on them.
