I am addicted to Facebook, but there are perks in being addicted. There are plenty of Facebook groups for model horses and today I was scanning before class and there was a cool how-to post and asked if it could be shared. This was written by Heather Kelly (Gill) and was first published in Model Horse Performance years ago. Hope you enjoy!

A Zombie Horse
I do sporadic things.
Especially after having a three hour class that deals with microeconomics.
I grabbed my Family Arabian Mare that I got at the flea market forever ago.
Then I went to town on her. Zombie horses, like zombie people, don’t have a list of ‘must have’ in order to be one.
Which is a good thing because I didn’t plan this out before take a heat gun to the model! She’s going to be Carl the zombie’s horse, because zombie things need to stick together, right?
Model Horse Messages Are The Best
The best types of messages are model horse messages.
Lizzie said she was making me a jump and told me to send reference pictures.
I sent this one which was taken during the summer at Breyerfest.
The wood color was settled when I sent her this.
And today I was sent the progress picture! Squee! Look at the little flowers.
Black Friday And A Saddle
I braved the crowds and survived.
I went to best buy, Books A Million and Michaels.
The most crowded was Michaels and that was pretty tame in terms of pictures. When I was done with Michaels, I was done with crowds. :)
The best deal of the day would be a toss up between Michaels and Best Buy. Michaels had all of the Christmas things on sale. Best Buy had the SD cards on sale. So both were great.
