While I’ve always been the horse girl of my family, my little sister, Kendall, has become one. She’s been my partner in crime to many horse related things.
When I graduated from college, my neighbor gifted me with two trail riding tickets to Ironstone Ranch in Elizabethtown. She mentioned that I could ‘take along a friend or go twice.’ Initially, I figured I’d use both tickets for myself. Time moved by and I still had the tickets. I wanted to go during the fall, because of the changing leaves.
I decided to cash in on it this year. We booked tickets for October, during the height of the fall colors.
I rode a beautiful dappled gray gelding named Moose.
We lined up.
And off we went. The Pennsylvanian woods were were so pretty to ride through.
At the end of the ride we came together for a group photo.
I haven’t ridden in a while, so this was a lot of fun!
