Halloween Cats

I was scrolling in one of my local community groups on Facebook and came across this:

Facebook listing about a local pottery business

I signed myself up and dragged my mom along with me.

I’d never made a glass mosaic before. We were handed the painted base, and given a plate of smoothed glass.

Our instructor warned us to not layout the whole cat. She encouraged us to do sections. Glue was applied to the glass and you fiddled around with the stick to place it. And clean up excess glue. The glue dried clear, but you still didn’t want to create a river of it.

Then white and off white glass was offered, just in case we wanted to add white markings.

I enjoyed this class immensely. If you’re in the Central PA area, I highly recommend checking out MudQueen.
