The Pennsylvania Farm Show occurs every January. Usually it ushers in a bad winter storm, but in 2023 not even a flurry could be found. The Farm Show is the largest indoor agricultural exposition in the country and the theme for its 107th running was “Rooted in Progress.” The famous 1,000 pound butter sculpture reflected this.

I walked around and visited alpacas, goats, and sheep.

I sat and watched the draft horse demonstration. I enjoyed watching them go in their single, team, and four-horse hitches. The carts and wagons were equally as impressive.

You can’t visit the farm show without enjoying the food court. 10/10 as always.

I can’t wait to see what the 2024 season looks like!
